Cholestasis

Cholestasis is a reduction or stoppage of bile flow. Bile is a necessary fluid in the digestion process. Disorders of the liver, pancreas, or bile duct can contribute to cholestasis. Symptoms include itchy skin, dark urine, and light-colored stool. Blood test and imaging test are used to detect the cause of cholestasis.
