Crohn's Disease

Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease which causes the lining of your digestive tract to become inflamed. Symptoms associated with Crohn’s disease includes abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss and malnutrition.

The inflammation caused by Crohn's disease often spreads deep into the layers of affected bowel tissue. Crohn's disease can lead to life-threatening complications.

Due to increased risk, a patient diagnosed with Crohn’s disease may be required to schedule regular colorectal cancer screenings. Please contact your physician to schedule your appointment if you experience symptoms of Crohn's disease.
